Mixing

I am available for mixing any music or audio sessions you may have. I also have experience in audio restoration with Izotope RX 7 software and can clean up commercial or broadcast audio if needed. I can mix sessions you have tracked yourself or that have been recorded here with me at LFS. The first stage of mixing includes trouble spotting any issues with the audio tracks and doing restoration work or volume leveling if needed. I then prepare the sessions for mixing which includes in depth editing and session management.

I can provide rough mixes for any audio tracks or sessions you need. These rough mixes can then be used for demo purposes. After approval by the client i can do a full mix of the session which includes mix bus compression and EQ. This first mix you may be happy with and continue through to mastering. If not i am able to provide revisions of your sessions until you are happy. Within reason and time constraints of course. After approval i will provide you with a downloadable 24b and/or 16b stereo Wav file of your session. this would be considered a final mix ready for the mastering stage just before physical or streaming distribution.

You are welcome to have an input into the final sound of your session, it is after all your music or audio. I consider it my main role to prepare the session for mixing. When it comes to the creative aspects of the final sound i am open to negotiation. You are the one that needs to be happy with your final mix.

If you have music sessions or audio ready but not the know how or tools for release format mixes then i am happy to work with any audio you provide to the best of its potential. No real barriers, lets record and release music.
